[美洲]伯利兹为何曾叫英属洪都拉斯？ [复制链接]

既然伯利兹与洪都拉斯并不交界，但与危地马拉交界，个人认为其实英属危地马拉的称呼更适合曾经的伯利兹。

这个无所谓吧，和南美的三个圭亚那一样啊。

法属圭亚那难道改叫法属苏里南？

苏里南旧称荷属圭亚那，邻国已经叫圭亚那了，其为何还叫圭亚那，且苏里南是独立国家。法属圭亚那是法国的海外属地。

这个应该没可行性，因为同在南美洲上曾经的大哥伦比亚共和国包括哥伦比亚（那时巴拿马是哥伦比亚的），委内瑞拉，厄瓜多尔。但是大哥伦比亚到最后还不是解体了。

Prior to 1580, Honduras referred to the eastern part of the province, and Higueras referred to the western part。

我一直觉得中美洲几个国家应当联合起来，统共就那么点土地，还分那么多国家。

是不是临近洪都拉斯湾的缘故。
