As per the grapevine, UP will be divided into Purvanchal and Bundelkhand by the end of this year.  

Says Aakash Gauttam, an advocate, "The Modi Government is planning to give full Statehood to Delhi. Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahar and Merutt from the present UP state will be merged into the Delhi state.

The New Delhi area would remain a National Capital Territory.  

The districts of Muradabad Mandal would be merged with Uttarakhand and the remaining part of UP would be divided into two separate states of Purvanchal and Bundelkhand."

He adds, "Varanasi would be the capital of the newly formed Purvanchal state and Lucknow would remain the capital of Bundelkhand."  

如果收编了密拉特，西部立邦的必要性确实大大降低。

北方邦2亿人，德里能分流多少？

德里扩大的话，昌迪加尔也要考虑扩大

没啥特殊意义，恒河跟黄河差不多，真正临河的大城市不多。

恒河和珠江一样，沿河大城市很多。下游分叉入海，也是大城市成群。

德里 勒克瑙 达卡都不在河边。一级驻只有帕特纳，二级驻也少得可怜。

最大也就瓦拉纳西，坎普尔以西几乎没有城镇。。。

如果昌迪加尔立邦，那旁遮普邦、哈里亚纳邦，大概率需要另建邦府。

哈里亚纳邦迁驻罗塔克比较合适。
旁遮普邦迁驻卢迪亚纳比较合适。

而且，德里要收编北方邦部分县，那自然也可能要收编哈里亚纳邦部分县。

哈里亚纳邦南北都要割地，损失惨重。。。
