真纳如果在巴基斯坦建国运动中就筹划分省可说是最好的历史机遇，可惜一去不复返。
原来巴基斯坦的分省其国内也有热议，有些政党也将建立新省作为竞选筹码之一。相关内容举例如下：
Discussion is still (2012-11) going on over the formation of some new provinces. There are proposals to split South Punjab from Punjab, Karachi from Sindh, and Hazara from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
