人家乡镇这一级全叫市~~。。。

和大兴安岭地区相比，人口略少一点，面积略大一点。
大概类比是 冰岛自治州，雷克雅未克县级市＋7个县。
县下设镇（municipality），镇再管具体自然聚落。


比如南部县的首府所在聚落Selfoss是属于árborg镇（municipality）。
有部分聚落名和镇名一致。

Sueurnesjabær is a municipality in Iceland that was created in 2018
from the merger of Sandgerei and Gareur municipalities.

Sandgerei（桑德盖尔济）略大，Gareur（加泽尔）略小。两者较近，合并办公。3000人左右。

The former municipality of Hörgárbygge was formed on 1 January 2001 by the union of the municipalities of Skriea (Skrieuhreppur), Öxnadalur (Öxnadalshreppur) and Glæsibær (Glæsibæjarhreppur). In 2010 Hörgárbygge merged with the municipality of Arnarnes (Arnarneshreppur) to form the current municipality of Hörgársveit.

Tálknafjarearhreppur is a municipality in Iceland. Its only settlement is Tálknafjöreur.
On the land side the municipality is surrounded by the municipality of Vesturbygge.
There is considerable cooperation between the two municipalities but unification was voted down in the latest election.

欧洲国家绝大部分就没有村子一说吧，最基础的就是市镇。
